February 2026 – DZIF/PEG Joint Meeting

Aleksandra, Pawel, Wei, Zhe, and Hazel attended the DZIF/PEG Joint meeting, a key event for infectious disease research. During the event, Pawel, Wei, and Zhe also presented their research in poster sessions.

It was a great honor to participate in the Tour der Hoffnung event on November 15 2025, where our research on childhood cancer received support.

April 2025 – Day of Immunology

As part of the Day of Immunology event, our group members Wei, Hazel, and Yixuan presented their poster titled “Alte Medikamente – neue Hoffnung: ‘Repurposing’ von Arzneimitteln” (“Old Drugs – New Hope: Repurposing of Pharmaceuticals”). In addition to the poster presentation, Hazel also took part in a science pitch video, where she briefly explained the project’s goals and significance. The event provided a valuable opportunity to share our research with the public, engage in insightful conversations, and answer a variety of questions from attendees.

March 2025 – New Publication in EMBO Molecular Medicine
