
Prof. Dr. Aleksandra A. Pandyra
Is a trained immunologist and tumor biologist appointed as W2 tenure track professor in translational immunology at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn.
Her major scientific advancements have included the preclinical translation of repurposed drugs including statins, dipyridamole and arenaviruses. Since then, Dr. Pandyra and her team have identified several other novel anti-viral and anti-tumoral immunomodulatory agents which they test using in vivo infection and tumor models.
